Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! I am finally starting my blog that I signed up for months ago... It is Halloween and I actually have a free minute since I made ALL of the kids take a nap. We stayed up late watching Haunted Mansion last night but the kids still thought it would be a good idea to wake up before the crack of dawn. I threatened them with no trick or treating unless they all took a good nap this afternoon. Justin and Alli have been off of school the past 3 days for teacher conferences so I haven't had a break at all. This year all of the kids wanted to be pirates. Justin still had his costume that I made him last year and he wanted to wear it again since "I wore it in Lehi and no one in Heber has seen it..." I made costumes for the girls that all match since they wanted to be "girl pirates". They all have a pirate corset (which they complained was uncomfortable LOL), a pirate princess tutu, and a peasant shirt-dress. I saw costumes like these selling on eBay for well over a hundred dollars apiece but I was able to make 3 of them for about $20. We have trunk or treat at our ward tonight at 5:30 and then we will go to all of our new friends' houses after that.

Thanks for bringing the kids tonight! It was such a nice surprize and a real treat. They looked awesome in their pirate outfits. Anna was so cute how she was afraid of Grandma until I took off my mask.

Wow Laura, You are truly talented! Your kids are so adorable in their custom Halloween costumes! I'm seriously very impressed at how lovely they are and the amount of money it took you to do it. I bet Chris was so happy too. That's great!
